Bird On Her Shoulder

3.5x5.5 Acrylic on watercolor paper (SOLD)
Another bird girl, I'm not going to make up a story for this one though, you can use your imagination.  This painting is matted with a 1" white mat and framed in  a 6x8" white frame.  More pictures of the frame to follow.

Lone Red Tree on Blue

6x6" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas ($46)
I did this one last month but for some reason I forgot to post it.

Bird On Her Head

Acrylic on watercolor paper - (SOLD)
Why is there a bird on her head?  I don't know, it just felt the need to land there. Or, maybe it is part of the hat (thought it is a bit large to be part of the hat...). She obviously likes birds, just take a look at her shirt, so she doesn't mind having it on her head. This painting is matted with a 1" white mat and framed in  a 6x8" white frame.  More pictures of the frame to follow.

Some Butterflies

Butterfly
6x6" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas (gift)
This one was done as a baby shower present for a friend so it is not for sale.  The colors were a bit specific to the decor of the nursery.  I liked it so much that I did another one though.

Purple Butterfly
8x8" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas ($68)
I think the colors work a little better on this one.  I might do a few different colors in the near future.

Pouty Dress-up Fairy Princess

6x8" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas ($52)
This one was done before "Daydreaming Flower Fairy". They are still a work in progress, the next one will probably be a bit different too.

Alone No More

6x8" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas ($52)

Again, playing around with colors for the trees.  Also playing around with different overall shape of the tree. Not sure how I feel about this one yet. Sometimes I have to put a painting away for a while and when I pull it out again I will often decide I really like it.

Daydreaming Flower Fairy

8"x8" Acrylic on gallery wrapped cavas ($68)
I've been wanting to paint figures for some time but have been trying to figure out a way to draw them to my liking.  I love this artist. Her style is whimsical and delightful. She gave me quite a bit of inspiration for finally coming up with my own drawings for figures.

3 Yellow Trees

6"x6" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas ($40)
I've been playing with some different colors for the trees. The trunks are a little less ruler straight, I kind of like them.
