Something New

Something new is in the works.  Hint, they are miniature in size...

I'm excited to roll out my new product as soon as I get them in the mail.  I'll have them for sale locally at the Farmer's Market and as soon as I get pictures I'll post them on the blog and have them available on Etsy.

Red Sky I & II

Red Sky I
11x14" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas (prints available soon)

Red Sky II
11x14" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas (prints available soon)
This set was done in November of 2009 but I'm going gang buster with my new scanner so I thought I would post them again.  They look very similar but if you look closely you can tell the subtle differences.  I'm getting ready to order several more prints for the Farmer's Market season coming up and thought I would try this one out.  I love them so I won't sell the originals, they are hanging on either side of my book case in my living room right now.

Proud Mr. Lion

8x10" Acrylic on watercolor paper (prints available soon)
Another in the kid's series. Mr. Lion turned out okay.  I think I'll take a little break from these for a while and do something different.  I have a few ideas and hopefully will be able to get to them soon.

Two Green Trees at Sunset

9x12" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas ($143)
I just got a new all in one printer.  It has a larger scanner bed so I can finally scan some of my 9x12" and slightly larger paintings.  This one I did in December and was actually kind of glad it hasn't sold yet so I could scan it and get some prints made of it.  The prints will be available shortly.

Baby Elephant

8x10" Acrylic on watercolor paper (prints available soon)
Cute little elephant. I'm working my way through jungle animals.  I have some more animals in mind and will start on them soon.  What animals would you like to see?

Happy Little Monkey

8x10" Acrylic on watercolor paper (prints available soon)
I have been wanting to do a monkey for some time now.  I finally got this monkey off my back so to speak.

Two Red Trees with Roots

8x10" Acrylic on watercolor paper ($163 with frame- SOLD)
This is a commission piece for a couple's vacation home here in Moab.  They already own 4 of my original paintings.  If anyone else wants something specific I would be happy to do one for them.
