 Introducing Nessie from Loch Ness.  She finally came out of hiding so I had to paint her quickly.  I've had plans to add to the children's series for a while now but only just got motivated.  I have plans for more but won't spoil the suprise of what animals I'm going to do.

I've been painting so many girls lately I decided to try a boy.  This one looks more like an older boy rather than the toddler I was trying for.

I'm playing more with backgrounds lately.  Not sure I love this technique but I'm going for a more understated background so the foreground takes precedence.  This bunny reminds me a little bit of a bunny in a children's book I read to my kids not too long ago.  I like the way the shirt turned out.
