Leaves and Flowers

12x12" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas (commissioned $185)
Not a great photo, but oh well.  A lovely woman brought me a throw pillow she wanted me to base a painting from.  There were a few minor changes but the finished painting is pretty much like the pillow.  The embroidery on the pillow was so much like my style that it was easy to paint.  Commission works like these are always fun for me to do

3 Guitars

9x12" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas (NFS- prints available soon)
I'm loving how this one turned out.  I can't wait to get it professionally photographed or scanned and get some prints made of it.

Little Monkey on Yellow

3x4.5" Acrylic and ink on watercolor paper (in black 5x7" frame with white mat $20)
This little guys was something of a test for a kid's series monkey.  I think he turned out kind of sweet.  More monkeys to come after the holidays.

Nessie from Loch Ness

8x10" Acrylic & ink on watercolor paper (prints available soon $15)
Introducing Nessie from Loch Ness.  She finally came out of hiding so I had to paint her quickly.  I've had plans to add to the children's series for a while now but only just got motivated.  I have plans for more but won't spoil the suprise of what animals I'm going to do.

Boy with Airplane

8x8" Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas ($68)
I've been painting so many girls lately I decided to try a boy.  This one looks more like an older boy rather than the toddler I was trying for.

Girl with Purple Bunny

5x7" Acrylic on watercolor paper ($45 with cream mat in black frame)
I'm playing more with backgrounds lately.  Not sure I love this technique but I'm going for a more understated background so the foreground takes precedence.  This bunny reminds me a little bit of a bunny in a children's book I read to my kids not too long ago.  I like the way the shirt turned out.
